palm treo 680 - hotsynch problem

Hi. I noticed this morning that my treo fails to hotsync after pressing the hotsynch button on the cable & the hotsynch application in the treo. it's ok again after i soft reset the treo by removing its battery. checked with my other friends & some of them have a similar problem. I never had this problem since i bought the treo last january 07.

Questions:
1. Have anyone else experienced this error too?
3. Any free palmware that i can use to soft reset the treo 680 without removing its battery?

Hi freza,
I have a treo 680 and i had that issue couple time but it's nothing. You just need to refresh the memory by doing a soft reset but since the treo 680 doesn't have a reset button, you'll need to to remove the battery. It'll just referesh the memory of the unit and you won't loose your data.
