This may be old news but I thought I would post it just in case.

According to PDAGeek the Sony wireless card is OEMed by intel as the Intel Pro 2011b CF card. This card is also sold as the Symbol Spectrum24 High Rate and the Socket CF WLAN card.

Has anyone tried these cards with the Sony drivers? Are they cheaper than the Sony card?

Please share.

So far no, and I haven't heard anything different. I have been told that the Intel Pro card really isn't much cheaper, but I have not verified that. Somehow the Clie knows what card you insert into it and isn't fooled.

Ditto so far with the Socket WiFi card. I have CFutils installed and CFutils recognizes the card (its name appears as gibberish thanks to lack of Japanese character support). However the NX will not use it sucessfully in Network Prefs for a WiFi connection. It gives a connection error.

Yes I saw a thread about the card once, but I guess it got lost in the crash...I don't quite remember it all, but the point was that it's not even an intel card. Intel rebrands some asian card. Sony and some other brands do the same.
All the cards should work on the NX, to bad there is none/little price difference...

something like that, I dunno anything about it, just typing what I read ;)
