Can I take the CF card out of my Canon Digital Camera (with jpg format photo files on it), put it in an NX or NZ Clie that has the CF driver installed, and see my photos on the Clie?

Thanks,
BarryT

YES!!

Sort of: ACIDIMAGE will see ALL folders and VFS volumes, so I HAD no problem, taking pix and then viewing them on my NX.

IF you depend on the clieviewer, maybe NOT because the directory structure would not be identical... you know the DCIM/101MSDCF

Thanks neat!

How good is the resolution of the jpg's versus, say, what you would see on the digital camera's LCD?

Can you tell how good the focus is, for example? On a digital camera LCD (which is usually about 1.5" in size) you can't tell if you're really in focus, or not. Can you on the Clie screen?

Yes you can see the images very well on the Sony screens, and you can zoom in and out of the picture to see the detail. The 3.3mp pictures I see in my NX are very clear, and I can easily tell which ones are out of focus, etc.
