I had Bible Reader since i have a palm, but ever since I downloaded the new version "Bible Reader +" does not work correctly in the clié, makes the unit freeze, the search utility does not work, and the buttons in the screen don't work.

Should I wait and see if Olive tree fix the problem or is there a Reliable bible in English and Spanish I could have in my palm?

Please Bible Readers, Help!

Bible+ v2.0 just came out and works great on my T665. It has quite a few nifty features (split screen, notes, snapshot, search, etc.) I was a MyBible user but find myself spending most of my time in Bible+

There are a lot of bibles out there that work with it. If you are ambitious you could even make your own.

Sorry the other couple of posts haven't addressed your problem :(

First of all, make sure you have the lastest beta version of BibleReader.  You should be able to download the zip file from here:  http://www.olivetree.com/handheld/beta/Downloads/BibleR350d84.zip

This definitely isn't as transparent nor does it run as smoothly as the OS4 version of the same, but it should at least allow you to get by with only some minor inconveniences.

Personally, I have moved to a new Bible program as well (Bible With You from gmpsoft.com), however that wasn't necessarily the easiest decision considering the fact that I had spent the money for OliveTree's NASB with Strong's.  With translation language being a consideration as in your case, this can get pretty complicated.  It really is a matter of personal opinion, but hopefully the above suggestion and link will help you out with your situation :)

You really read a bible on a PDA? Amazing.

...Sometimes it's the only way I can keep up with the minister when He jumps around verses in different books :-)

Whoa!... be careful, now!  That sounds a little bit dangerous ;)

...plus, I think that has been done way too many times already, ha ha! :D

(p.s.  I know what you were trying to say... all in good humor :))

There were some bugs in the search function of the Beta. I'm still waiting for Greek to be supported. And yes, people use the Bible on the Clie! The latest version is much more stable.

Just to answer couple of comments. It is amazing that I used my PDA bible so much and I didn't noticed until now that I don't have it, like when i am on hte metro rail and I have spare time and I feel like reading it at a certain moment, i pull it out and read it. When I study it, I don't need the PDA, I use the PDA rather to make my notes in Wordsmith. For me, the original paper book is so far irreplaceable, but I have used the PDA Bible, like "Bible Reader" to help me to find words in the "Search" utility.

Let's remember though that the power of that written word takes place when it has been understood in the heart and not only just read.

Thanks again for the replies
