We all know the NZ90 will play MP3's (rather nicely I might add), but will it decode the AAC format that Apple's iTunes is now using with it's new 'Music Store'? I would hate to have to carry around an iPod in addition to my NZ90! For those that haven't experienced the new iTunes Music Store, it's simply superb and will be available for Windows computers by the end of the year. Perhaps some new decoding software will become available to decode AAC's!!!:D

Sony would have to make it, because IIRC they haven't publically documented their sound APIs. For a machine that bills itself as a "Personal Entertainment Organizer", it doesn't handle music very well. It doesn't even completely support the only two formats it can actually play. It won't support VBR MP3s or MP3 pro and it won't support ATRAC3 (not that I'd ever use it) with MS-pros.

Advanced Code does result in the Tune display on Clie, however, as you discovered, does not play

Remeber Sony it is also called Sony Music. So it depends if they want all the revenue for themselves or they thibk Apple can generate more revenue for them.
