Help!
My NX-70 stopped hotsyncing about a week ago. I bought it the first day it came out in Japan, back in November, and I take it everywhere with me. Now, when I look at the connector on the bottom of the Clie, a couple of the "teeth" are greened over instead of being gold. When I drop it in the cradle and try to hotsync, nothing happens (the message says something like "Could not establish a connection between Clie and your computer"). However, MSImport works just fine. Is this a common problem with Clies? Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Actually, I had this same problem with my last Clie, an N600C, but when I sent it to Sony, they sent it back saying that it worked just fine. Any ideas?

Did you clean the connector? If it is greened over, then it appears that it's NOT making contact.

It's not exactly an easy place to get in there and clean it. Normally on gold contacts, I just use a pencil eraser. Do NOT stick anything in there that is metallic!

About the only thing I can suggest is use a slightly dampened Q-Tip and some alcohol or contact cleaner. You don't want to get any liquid inside your Clie.
