Sometimes when i'm moving stuff around from CF (512mb Samsung) to memory stick, on the CF itself or even updating a movie thumbnail on the CF the screen gets some apparent interference. A bit like an old UHF TV when you knocked the aerial off the top.

Is this normal, is this due to power consumption of the CF, will it damage anything longterm ?

Any ideas, advice ?

I get the same type of interference when coping files in and out of the CF Card. It doesn't seem to be a problem, just a short glitch.

I'm using a 512 mg ScanDisk card with a 128 mg blue MS on a clie nx70v.

My 2cents worth.

I do not think it is interference, although it looks like it, but rather screen flicker caused by the transfer rate of the data. I get it with larger files and do not see it on smaller ones. Just a thought.

It is one of the known issues in the readme file. BTW, it comes and goes, I had it happen once during beta testing and since then it hasn't done it again. The first time you see it, it's a bit unsettling, but it doesn't appear to hurt anything :).
