Just pull on one side to free the peg from the hole. I think the tg looks ugly without the cover, but obviously opinions vary.

i think it's ugly w/o it's cover too. that said, i'd love it if someone made a leather flip for it that would flip around to the back of the unit. not ideal for audio w/ the speaker, but it's wimpy anyway.
oh, just pull the cover to one side and take it off. i wouldn't worry about breaking it if you're at least a bit careful...

IT feels like I am going to break the little prong that clips onto the cover. Can we get detailed instructions on this? Because at the moment, it feels like I am applying a lot of force trying to pry the cover off, and I fear applying any more force will break something.

there are detailed instructions and pictures in the TG50 manual if you have it

Yeah. The pictures arent very detailed. Neither are the instructions.
1) Push (1) with your left hand.
2) Remove the cover in direction (2) pulling the other side of (1)
and while those written isntructions were confusing, the picture gave me a general idea of how to do it, but the thing is the cover doesn't want to release the little prong that its attached too. If I push (1) hard enough, I can almost see the black prong inside bending as I pull the right side of the cover away!

i've been taking the flip cover off: first so I could use the foldup keyboard on the airplane (the lady in front of me was leaning back!) and also because it seems silly to have the cover on when the unit is in my brando flip case.
the black peg on the right side is spring loaded, so if you push in on the right side of the cover and twist up (and counterclockwise), the cover comes off.
if I get a chance, I'll post a pic tomorrow.

How many are there? If there aren't too many, I can maybe make them a bit smaller in terms of res, and merge them into one picture then i'll upload them to an online portfolio I have at http://r0x0rtenshi.deviantart.com

FYI- I fly quite a bit and when I get someone in front of me who is leaning back at an inopportune time (when I'm eating for instance) I adjust my air vent overhead to blow directly on top of their head and put it on full force. When they turn around I ask, "Oh, is that bothering you? I'm sorry, I'll move it, but would you mind raising your seat up just a bit?" Use at your own risk. :-)

It's not the size: I attach them to my post and the site shows them as uploaded in the message window. But once it's posted, the attachment doesn't show on the bulletin board.
OK - I changed my avatar for now, so you can see it w/out the flip cover (but very, very small!)

Yeah so just mail them to me dude.
-Note-
I realized that the manuals use images of the Clie without its top cover, although its the same generic 3/4 shot.
