View Full Version : Can you install zlauncher skins in the MS?

I've only got 2.5mb left in the RAM and want to install and run the skins from the MS, I've tried to sync it to the MS, but the theme manager can't seem to see it if it's in the MS. Is it not possible?

Yes it is possible. Theme Manager (within ZLauncher) can move the themes and the backgrounds to the MS. Just touch on the theme and, when the dialog box comes up, select "move".

If you install them directly to the MS you have to move them into the right folder (/Palm/Programs/Zlauncher/Backimage or /Palm/Programs/Zlauncher/Theme on my MS).

I generally keep about 5-7 themes in /Palm/Programs/ZLauncher/Theme at any given time. Works great!

6 themes, 4 icon sets, 15 backimages on the MS. this means my launcher takes up more memory than all of my friend's m130 has. it's fun to be able to customize so much.

where is the best place to get icons and themes?


I can make my own backimage in photoshop, so that is no problem.

Zoopie skin (even the newest one for zlauncher3) behaves strangely. It simply vanishes from the theme manager and I wasn't able to install back to my palm.

Anyone having the same problem?

I've hotsync a couple of themes into the MS, but I do I run it from the MS? There isn't a load option in theme manager. Do I have to move it to the RAM, and move the one I am not using to the MS? kinda swap over?

Just tap Select and ZLauncher automatically loads the theme into RAM. When you select another theme, ZLauncher also delete the previous theme from RAM.

If memory serves me correctly, I had the same problem. I think I ended up installing it directly to the MS, then moving it into the correct folder, and then it showed up in Theme Manager.

I do remember that it is the only Theme I have had to install that way. All the others installed to RAM and then I moved them to the MS via Theme Manager.
