Yesterday evening while browsing Google Maps, my 20-month-old TX screen went crazy, accompanied by rapid clicking, followed by a loud click and a dark screen. Power and reset buttons were tried to no avail. It was sad to lose what my wife refers to as my "brain".

Today I went into Best Buy to exercise my 2 year extended warranty, expecting to be TX-less for several weeks. Instead I walked out with a replacement TX (new) for which I paid $49 to get another 2 years extended warranty (The dead TX was a warranty replacement at 23 months for a digitizer-drifted T3).

I walked out with a smile on my face. Because every morning at 4:30, NVBackup wakes up my TX and copies everything to my SD card (I set it for 2 generations). So after charging, I ran NVBackup, and I'm back to 4:30 Sunday morning - and since I had only referenced my TX during the day, not changed anything, I'm actually back to 8:30pm. It felt so good to see LauncherX at the top of the screen, and ATOMIK keyboard on the bottom.

Thank you, Alex Pruss!
