Although my NX70 is almost 6 years old, I have had to retire it because the screen was starting to flicker, and it was starting to look worse for wear from the constant use.

Fortunately I was able to get a virtually unused one from a secondhand dealer!

After a backup & restore it is just as if my old NX70 has had an extensive refit.

. . . . and I'm still looking for something just as advanced today, as the Sony Clie range was back then.

I don't think there will ever be something as advanced as the Clie... :(

The one great thing about the NX70 was the fact that you could use both CF and MS at the same time. Okay, didn't always get around the 11MB limitation, but with a few hacks etc like UDMH, it sported more memory than a TH55, and had the coolest swivel screen around. Eyes still pop whenever I open the NX and swivel the screen... Ahh Sony - if only you did not abandon us...

Yes, 4GB CF + 1GB MSDP and PowerRun+JackFlash gives me plenty of space. for work and fun.

I got quite poor battery life running both CF and MS at the same time. I ended up ditching the CF as a result...

Yes, battery drained has increased, but nothing the new battery can't handle. Every modification has it's cost, and I'm prepared to accept the increased power drain for the massive storage increase.

I can't part with my NX60 either. There is just nothing that compares!
