This is my first time posting, but I've used the forum a lot.

I have spent hours searching the forum, and more hours troublshooting this problem.

I've downloaded VZNetFront and and saved it to my memory stick, then moved the file to the my UX40 RAM using Palminsider Pro. Bingo access to Hotmail.
However, since then I have had to do a hard rest. So I repeated the steps and it wouldn't work. I then noticed another threat that recommended to edit NetFront file with a Hex Editor from
"Mozilla/4.0 (PDA; PalmOS/%s/model %s/%s) NetFront/3.0" to
"Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; )"
Then installed this to my clie, and it still didn't work.
I then copied the edited Netfront file from my UX back to the memory card and opened it up in Hex Editor (out of curiosity) and noticed it reverted back to "Mozilla/4.0 (PDA; PalmOS/%s/model %s/%s) NetFront/3.0".

This is crazy. I can't erase the original Netfront 3.0. What else can I do? Any recommendations?

I had a chance today to work on this. Since I followed all the installation instructions correctly, I figured to do more searching on this forum.

As mentioned earlier, if you downloaded the latest Netfront 3.1, you don't have to use a hex editor. You can change the User Agent in Netfront settings, which I did, but still couldn't access the Hotmail site. Then I just deleted everything associated with Netfront in my UX except the application. After a reset, I tried again and BINGO! It's working.

Eventhough I didn't get any responses to my thread, I was still able to find all the information I need in this forum. Thanks 1src. :)
