OKay, i did look for it in other threads but i didnt see anything about it that can help me out. So, hope that someone can show me the light...hihiii

I have a unlocked Treo 650 that i use as pre-paid with T-Mobile. Since few days when i want to sync with USB/BT it crashs the Treo and keeps the phone OFF after restarting. Sometimes the phone truns ON, sometimes NOT....

But beside that it doesnt sync my calendar and contacts. Its strange, it seems the new meetings are somewhere in Treo but it doesnt show them. No way to find out when it does over-write the palm desktop and when on the Treo. of course i did change and try everything to customize the functions.

Today the alarm went oFF for a meeting but the time/information of that meeting was nowhere to see in the calendar...

So, nothing happens the seem for twice, each sync act differently and it drives me crazy...

Anyone have/had the same problem or knows the solution?
Thanks and enjoy your holiday with some beers less... keep it fun and safe..

;)

Have you tried setting the sync action to desktop overwrites handheld? You will lose some data, but purge corrupted files. If you can't find a solution contact palm by email, they usually have a lot of insight on sync issues. Hope I helped.

Thanks Brent, yes i did try every version of hotcync overwrite but it doesnt get back to usual function....
I did even make 8MB free on Treo and i have a 2GB SD. so free memory wont be an issue either.

I guess i better uninstall and re-install palm desktop and hard reset my Treo....
Do you have a Treo 650 as well?

No I don't have a Treo 650, but a Palm TX, before you trash your whole system have you tried contacting Palm via email? They may want you to talk to you carrier (who don't have as much hotsync info), but just say you have a handheld and they will probable give you the same info. Also have you tried renaming your desktop backup folder, and changing all sync conduits to desktop overwrites handheld? If you don't know were the desktop backup folder is just post and I'll give you detailed info on were to find it.

It has nothing to do with the carrier - corrupted data/misbehaving app.

I never said the carrier caused the problem, I said Palm might want him to talk to the carrier.

I didnt think that carrier has to do with the software..... So, what is the solution?

Where are all those Palm Gurus? I was expecting to get tons of feedbacks and solutions....
So, should go ahead and uninstall the Palm desk on my laptop and hardset the Treo with the risk of losing my data? :(

I did copy the entire directory in my palm desk, after reinstalling the software i should be able to recover and copy past in to the new palm software/laptop. right?

come on guys, somebody help me here. i really need this thing get fixed now.. :o
