Palm has several new updates out that you will want to apply. Hawk silly season is in full swing! GadgetsOnTheGo has a great Treo 755p vs. 700p comparison and more! [details (http://www.1src.com/?m=show&id=1902)]

Great show as usual, Alan.
Makes for a great distraction when doing some weeding in the garden ;)
I noticed you missed the fact 755p is officially supporting 4Gb SD card as well as supporting SDHC. See Palm Knowledge Base article 34080.

This summer sounds really good for the mobile computing dept. I'm very excited to see whats the Hawk is all about and also to see what HTC has hidden up their sleeve that will be revealed June 5th. That lil ad they have looks pretty cool :)

I'm not really exciting about HTC's announcement. What concerns me more is the announcement that Jeff Hawkins will gonna make this coming May the 30th.
Alan I think you made a point in the podcast regarding the Hawk. Yeah I agree that it will be accompanied by new bundled of software and services which will make the device a stand out and will give the device to have the right for the new mobile category that Jeff is intending it for. However I also believe that it will be based in a new hardware design with never seen before hardware combination that will make the device a more unique for mobile computing. It will not going to be a secret, but we will find it out tom.

What do you think they will call the 3rd section? We have the PDA, smatphones..with all this talk abount always connected, maybe Perosnal Communicator Assistant (PCA)? I hope they fix this 3rd device, unlike the last '3rd' device. Pffft, mobile managers were just PDA with big internal memory.

Alan,
just remembered something else I wanted to comment ...
755p (and 680 and 750v and all successors having an internal antenna) will most likely never have a metal stylus anymore.
I do not recall exactly which vendor it was but I read on Treo Yahoo group someone was using a replacement metal stylus for his 680 and reception dropped from 3 to ZERO. Remove stylus and all was well again.
This is an effect from the internalization of the antenna. The metal stylus seems to interfere with reception of radio signals hence downgrading signal quality.
