Pocket Tunes and 2 GB SanDisk

I just purchased a TX and am learning how to use Pocket Tunes. Does anyone know why I can only transfer about 75 MP3 audio files to the card? The card still has about 800 MB of free space, but won't accept any more files.

Is there a way to work around this problem?

How are you transferring?

I am dragging audio files from iTunes library on a G4 Powerbook to the SanDisk image on the desktop. It works just fine untill I reach the apparent limit of the card.

hmmm not sure how much help I can be... Windoze user here. I did not think Ptunes worked with iTunes

nothing to do with mac-ptunes as theres no direct connection between them - sounds like a problem with the card.

Try 2 things:
1. Reformat card
2. Drag a bigger single file onto the empty card.
3. When it wont take more files from itunes drag from finder

Have you tried copying anything else onto the card? Text documents, PDFs, random stuff like that?
Just to see if its an OS issue?

Make sure you empty the trash on your Mac when your card is hooked up and you are deleting files. Many times you can delete files but the space won't be freed up until trash is emptied.
