Intro: Akino Hitoshi's MemoRu! ( http://akinohitoshi.s5.xrea.com/application.html ) is a notes application that's far superior to the commonly known Diddlebug and is full integrated with MS, creates BMPs, has 256, HR support, a great interface, block and pblock tools as well as a fill tool and four brushes. It can mirror, move and so on and even has an undo function. Oh, and it's FREEWARE as well!!!
I take notess only every now and then, so it took me some time to discover this ... whatever it is.
When you install MemoRu! on the NX, every brush tool will ultimately become a line tool, since the input updates are for some reason handled incorrectly on the NX. However if you enable background play on Audioplayer and play a song it will work just fine. The moment the song stops, the input returns to "line mode" and if you press play on wondersilk or remote it will instantly work again. Weird. Anyway, it's still my favourite drawing application!

Funny, it is an app that needs music to feel good!!
Just like my girlfriend...

Your avatar? Well, she sure has a good hearing =)
Anyway, here's some crap you can do in MemoRu, if you absolutely cannot draw:

Probably a generational thing. Cheers was a show from what, the 1980s? That's some 20 years ago!

Maybe I'm an old 18 year old, but I used to watch Cheers all the time! :D One of the classics. Time does not age that show.
So many of today's shows depend so much on the current trends and pop-culture, they are going to age very fast. Cheers has the type of situational humor that lets it stay in syndication for a long time, and still remain relevant and funny.
I'll post something on topic: MemoRu! looks pretty cool. I'll have to give it a try.
I gave up on MemoRu when I couldn't get it to work.
Nice discovery about MemoRu and music!

Sorry about disapointing you guys about cheers, but remember:
a) I've got a TV in my room, but it's hooked up to my PS2, PC, PSX, MS, NES and SNES and that's about it.
b) When I go downstairs to our family TV, which I don't do too often ( I've got my own flat, but in the same house as my parents ) I watch the news and that's about it
c) I have a strong dislike for cable TV (watch Jerry Springer and you know that it's true. Watching TV actually MAKES people dumb)
d) I HATE soaps
e) When watching 95% of all "comedies" I feel like watching a soap
f) I'm only 20, so I wasn't really that much into watching TV in the eightees
g) Germany has (sadly) it's own soaps, so we don't get every American one
h) What the heck are beer nuts? I always thought of Germany as the home of brewery, but we NEVER EVER tried to create a cross-bread of bear and nuts
h) About MemoRu!Getting it to work shouldn't be too hard. Just download the zip, open and doubleclick the prc. That should do. And on every Clié besides the NX it will work porfectly then.
Hey hansschmucker, you're in the front page. Thanks for this MemoRu discovery. :)

<snip - I had a long reply about the evils of TV vs video games, how Springer and Rikki Lake are the anti-Christ, "Will&Grace" is the death of comedy, etc. But decided not to editorialise, instead cutting to the main point...>
Re: h.) Beer nuts - and you Germans call yourselves beer drinkers  ... check this link out (http://www.beertravelers.com/lists/beernuts.html). Too much pilsner and lager. If you drank bitter beers, you'd truly appreciate the beer nut :)
To keep this on topic - can someone with MemoRu draw a beernut and post the image :D?

Can't find anything special about it. Coated nuts. So. What does it have to do with beer? Sure, I can find them at any bar, but I usually eat them with Vodka Lemon. Anywqy, about Germans not drinking bitter beer: This comment from an American. America, home of root beer. Where people die not of old age, but of prezels. Shame on you Mr Bush. Sorry, wrong topic. Anyway, America is not really known for bitter beer. More for the sweet stuff.
Oh and the obligatory Memoru post: What do you think of this image:

P.S. 95% of Germany's bars and discos don't even have Lager. You're confusing England with Germany.

About TV vs. Videogames: Rest assured that neither one will make you any smarter. It's just that games are more fun to me.

BTW - My location might say SoCal, USA, but my passport says Australian :D, and Fosters is NOT Australia for beer (there is a reason so much of it is exported - noone will drink the stuff at home).
Your comments on American beer is dead on for the commercial stuff - but the Microbrews are decent. There is a joke that goes along the lines of "Whats the difference between American beer and having sex in a canoe?" ... but because this is a PG13 rated forum, I can't deliver the punchline :)

Never tried Foster. All we have here is two dogs, which is not really beer, but once in a while it tastes OK. Oh and a little advertisement (pictures of my former dining room =) , not much left after my birthday, but anyway)
First, for those who know German
http://hansschmucker.no-ip.biz/beer2.png
(it's the famous Father, our prayer, but with a beer-ish twist to it)
It goes something like this:
Father our,
you shall be in our glasses,
We praise your inventor.
Our drunkness will come,
your will shall happen.
In heaven - just like in our bar.
Our thirst kill today,
and free us of the money we owe,
just like we forgive those who owe money to us.
And don't lead us to the milk bar,
give us the power to drink on,
cause yours is the thirst,
the drunkness and peace.
Cheers!
It's situated just above the bottels of rare beer. (Pic #3)

Only been to the US for two weeks and I honestly couldn't find a descent beer.
About what we have: Well, it's 90% mainstream stuff as well. Beer from very small breweries is just too expensive. Currently we're down to ~ € 0.85 for 0.5litre of beer (selling for €1) and ~ € 1.35 for mixed stuff (selling for €1.50). Small breweries easily triple that price

hmm.. strange. I downloaded MemoRU, installed it through HOTsync.. started the audioplayer and switched to MemoRU. I was probably able to get 2-3 brushes going(in excitement), then I got a "FATAL ERROR" and was forced to reset. This happened several times.
I think there still is some compatibility problems with the program.
