I knew in advance I'd have to sit through a 9-hour seminar (mandatory continuing education) recently. It's one of those deals where your body has to be front and center, but your brain can be on lay-away, since the speakers repeat what's in the textbooks received upon arrival.
Since it was located in a hotel conference room, I figured there'd be no immediately accessible electrical wall outlet. And, it would be too darn inconvenient to rely on the car adapter. So I did some research, and grabbed this adapter, which takes 4 AA batteries, to be SURE I wouldn't lose TG50 power prior to the end of the day, as I had headphones; a fully loaded Mem Pro stick with movies, MP3s; plus lotsa PDF files to review and work documents to create. Worked like a charm y'all, so I'm passing on this tip.
BTW, I also grabbed the portable keyboard -- all of which allowed me to leave the laptop at home, yet get lotsa work done while boppin' my head to the tunes, and still travel super-light!
You can compare prices via a froogle.com search for
--> pega-bc10 battery adapter
Pricing tends to be in the just-under-$40 range.
