On the T|X all of my downloads end up in /PALM/Blazer/Download if I select save to card with Blaaaaahzer.
However if you select 'save to device' whatever application is registered to recieve the download will and save it where it pleases (F.E. PalmPDF will save .PDFs to /PALM/PROGRAMS/PalmPDF, Resco explorer saves .zip to /PALM/PROGRAMS/RescoExplorer, etc.)
If that made sense,

Resco can handle anything if you set it up right ;-)
You can edit the file associations in the ctl panel and set it up to DL whatever you please.

Resco Explorer is by far the best app for unzipping (or anything else for that matter). If you download to your sd card you should be able to find it in the Palm/Blazer/Download folder no matter what format it is in. But I warn you be careful downloading to the device, because sometimes it will tell you "file saved to drive". You will not be able to find this file with an ordinary file manager like FileZ, you will need an app that lets you see the BUILTIN part of the device. Resco Explorer can do this, open the directory BUILTIN/PALM/Download. Notice the Download folder cannot be opened (I don't know why), Explorer will say "No such file or directory", but the file you just downloaded is inside the BUILTIN/PALM/Download. I recommend deleting the Download folder (this will also delete the file you downloaded). Before I found this solution I would have to hard reset/restore from last backup just to get rid of the downloaded file. To avoid all this trouble I recommend just downloading to the card.

"FileZ, you will need an app that lets you see the BUILTIN part of the device."
Not true! Goto menu and options and select show hidden volumes :-)

Or install handzipper.
On the fly unzipping of whatever you download.
Easy out

Thanks for the tip, never noticed the "show hidden volumes" checkbox in the preferences (what is wrong with me lol).
