Hi, I have a Tx and the Sony Ericsson T616. I managed to connect to the web using both via bluetooth but as a dial up connection. I tried to paired them for GPRS connection but cannot find a way.

Everytime I try to create a GPRS connection via Bluetooth the TX wizard only offers me the profiles already on the machine (USA, Mexico, Buenos Aires, etc). I have no way to enter my settings. The TX said I should update my profiles using an app found on my PC on the palm folder but there is none... any ideas will be appreciated.

The dial up works fine but it is expensive as it charges per second. GPRS charges (here) only for the amount of data sent and is actually faster than the dial up.

Try Mobile High Speed, it has settings for lots of phones and providers around the world.

Connecting to GPRS ist very much like connecting to a network. You can use some other provider with the wizard. First, be sure to have the BT connection established so that you can pick your phone. Then take some provider and look up the correct settings for yours on itīs website (should be there). Now you can change the settings in the prefs panels "Network" for that particular GPRS connection by hand, should be almost only the telephone number (itīs something like "**99#").

If your phone can use gprs, then the TX should connect too.

Make sure you set the TX to query the server for DNS. I found that to be the issue that kept me from connecting using my Cingular service.
