I'm a big fan of the T-615. I recently upgraded to NX70 V but returned it primarily b/c of it's large size). The problem with my T615 is the battery. Sometimes it just dies on me w/o warning. Maybe I overcharged it in the past, if that's possible, but there's no reason after a few hours in the cradle, that the next morning the battery life is so low I cannot use the backlight. Until Sony comes out with an updated version the size of the T615, I'm stuck with this. SO... where's the best link to get the 4 AA battery portable charger that one thread previously mentioned. The sony and radioshack ones are too expensive. I'm happy to get a 3rd party brand (ie thru ebay, but the current site didn's seem to have the model I'm looking for. Any ideas?

I just did an eBay search and found it without any real effort. Some of these offers are kind of 'hit and miss'.
I also set myself up with a complete travel pack on ebay- got a charge/sync cable and both an AC and auto adaptor that work with the USB cable. So, with the battery unit and these three other items, I can charge almost anywhere.
To sweeten it even further, I have a solar device to recharge AA batteries, so I can recharge even while away from other sources!

How about the link to that ebay site that sells this charger
Another source is PC-Mobile, p/nPST2B, ($13.90). Here is a link:

Go to http://www.ripvan100.com/products_recharger.htm . The Lightning Pack 4000N Charger.
I bought their charger a month ago after reading excellent reviews on it. It cost me $20; right now it's $23.95. the price and special offers fluctuate from week to week. It's another $6.45 for shipping. So it's a bit costly, but extremely convenient.
This charger is excellent 'cuz there are no wires; the plug folds into the charger. The unit is really small and light. It's amazingly fast (my Rayovac 700 Mah AAA's take half an hour). You can't overcharge in it; it has sensors for that. When done, a trickle charge begins. It detects dead batteries. It can discharge too if you need too. It has worldwide voltage acceptance so you don't need a separate (wired) adapter other than the small plug adapter to fit in the socket. ALSO... unlike other fast chargers that overheat the batts, this one has this pulse charge mechanism that keeps batteries much cooler.
ONE drawback: Along with the charger, I got this little 'pamphlet' trying to convince me to convert to Christianity. Some miracle story.... whatever.
