Update: $20 rebate on Sandisk 128MB MS from Amazon

Hi all. I was the one who posted that geat deal before the site went down. And I missed the postmark deadline to mail it in!! How stupid of me!

The postmark deadline was 1/21/03 , which I just realized. They (I bought 2) will be postmarked 1/23. Is Sandisk gonna be pricky about that and deny me my rebate(s)?

Though it is ironic that you forgot to turn in a rebate for an accessory to a device that's meant to remind you to do things...

They may or may not honor it, it is completely up to Sandisk and the clearinghouse that processes their rebates. I work for a manufacturer who also does consumer rebates, and we have a two month(!) grace period on rebates, but ours are relatively low dollars amounts ($1 - $3).

I purchased a Samsung monitor with a rebate about a year and a half ago, and I postmarked it a day late. It was denied, and it took several emails with one of their customer service personnel to get my $40 check cut.

Definitely mail your rebate in, the most you'll be out is another $.37. If they deny it, try pleading your case directly to Sandisk, they will most likely honor the rebate.
