Besides the obvious reason to be sad....loosing tons of valuable info.....I'm sad because I had a thread going with some 260 replies and close to 20,000 views. It was a thing of pride for me to log onto Cliesource, go to the NR section, and see how my baby was growing.

Oh well, back to my search for a cool topic to post.......

I feel the sadness, as I'm sure everyone does. The wealth of information built over months and years of people's learning experiences enlightening new generations of CLIE users lost in a single swipe. Truly feels like a bit of the CLIE's history in the West has been lost!

Let's hope their host had enough sense to keep data back ups.

If not, well ... back to square one. No more telling newbies to 'search the forum!' and more answering the same old questions :D

It is very sad to see all the old threads disappear. Perhaps we should have a funeral?

I had a few threads that were pretty packed myself. Although, it did get somewhat difficult to find good info while wading through hundreds (or more) of thread results after a search. So, for awhile anyway, we've trimmed away all the "fat" and we've got a lean, mean cliesource machine :D

This is horrible! Some of that stuff (read as most) was useful!
