Rumors of successor?

I've been browsing this forum for a while, hoping that someday there will be a successor to the NZ90. Has anybody out there heard anything? I was going to purchase a NZ, however am waiting to see what happens in the future. It always sucks to buy the latest and greatest then to be shot down a few months later. I heard it said that Sony comes out with a new model every 3 - 5 months... sooo.. any news from anybody? TIA!

seriously, looked at the new Tungsten, nice, and fast! I do a bit of internet browsing, and it's snappier in rendering screens, but I would not give up the high res display of the NZ now...

I also had the new Tungsten for about 2 days and thought that the plastic body was cheap feeling. The keyboard was great, but I couldn't get used to not having a graffiti input area.

If Sony comes out with a better model... probably a 400 MHz, with faster bus speed, and 64-128 Megs of internal memory, that would be wonderful... however this Sony does everything I need and more. Plus with the CF driver, cheap memory is no longer a problem. I have to put my damn foot down and stop buying the better models! Maybe if more people would do that then Sony would keep supporting their older models with better software and drivers!

I got the CompUSA warranty with my NZ90> I call it upgrade insurance. IF Sony comes out with something better in the next 2 years, I just UPGRADE for nothing. ;-)
