Softick audio gateway and headphone recommendations?

Two questions:


Is Softick Audio Gateway a good and stable app with the TX?
What are a good pair of headphones that work well with it?


My wife will kill me if I spend too much or waste my money. I have some hearing loss so I don't need audiophile quality, something that would sound as good as my $20 wired Sony headset would be fine. No earbuds though. Nothing that has any wire, which would defeat the purpose.

I have found it to be very stable starting with v 1.10.

I use both the Plantronics 590A and the Etymotic Research ETY-8 without any problems.

Do you guys know of any other programs with similar functionalities? A freeware one pref. :)
