Is anyone out there using Reset Doctor on the TX? If so are you using the Cache management settings? I just got it and I am using it to backup Prefs but I don't have any of the Cache management stuff turned on? Any thoughts or experiences would be helpful.

I use it, but not for cache management. I prefer OffFlush 2.0. One of the problems with using RD for cache management is that it will flush at the level you set whenever it detects a launch code. This is fine if you don't use accessorizer, but the DAs that accessorizer generates will generate a normal launch code when they are invoked. This sequence of events can, and did for me, make RD flush the cache in the middle of a program just because I launched a accessorizer DA. Flushing while in an app is not recommended. I mentioned this problem before to Alex in another thread, but I don't think he is interested in addressing it - or if he even can - since you are literally launching an app. I also mentioned this to the RD support people and they were not interested in altering the behavior.

I agree with CD. Plus, I donīt like to get flushed when I just might not want to - i.e., quickly just looking up a telephone number or so. I only like to get flushed whenever I think I might need it (i.e.,before launching Blazer or NetFront), or turn off the device so Iīm not bothered by the flush.

Thatīs why I use OffFlushV1 (set to flush at a level of 40% but only on power-off) in conjunction with FlushDA (set to H2(long) with myKBD). I also use DBCacheInfoDA to see how things stand.

Additionally, I have turned off any automatic flushing elsewehere (i.e., RescoBackup, DBCacheTool) and - if I used it - ResetDoctor as well.

What can I say? Iīm running fine and it suits me well :)
