Netfront 3.O Version 1.1.35 update problem

I've been trying to install that 1.1.35 updated version to my Clie NX60 and all it does is add another program (that doesn't show up in the menu) as NetFront3_inst. I tried Hotsynching and copying it over from my memory stick, but I still get the same outcome. Do I need to delete the old application first, or am I not the only one that has this problem.

Please let me know if you take a look with CLIE Files and see two Netfront3 apps (both a little over 2MB).

You need 6 to 8 megabytes of free RAM to install it. If there is NOT enough free RAM, it won't install. Once it's installed, then it only occupies 2 megs of RAM.

Is this different than Netfront 3.0 that came with my NX70?

Just go into NetFront then the file Menu icon, Options, About

The Revision # is what you are looking for. I also had 1.1.19, till I updated.

I installed it; but it has been very unstable in my NX. I got a freeze and several times when I clicked preferences on the menu and tried to get back to the app, I would get a fatal exception.
Also got a Fatal Exception sometimes when clicking on the status bar.

I gave up on it. I did get the Page Too Large errors. I tried it in ROM and in RAM, sometimes it would give me a Fatal Exception even when browsing a page. Not sure, my file could be corrupted, but I erased it.
If you want to try, make sure you copy the 1.1.19 version to the Memory Stick using Powerrun. Then you move the Netfront3 folder from the Powerrrun folder to another place. That is the easiest way to get the old version back if the new one doesn´t work for you; you just move the Netfront3 folder back and then update shortcuts. Then in Powerrun you move back to the internal memory and it works just like before.
