Hey guys!
Why is it impossible to download anything off of any palmgear link if you are in: Blazer, Universe, Opera mini, or copy the link and paste it into lget?
It just cruds out and doesn't download. Anyone have experience with this?

In an even more bazaar twist, you gotta ask why PalmGear does not have a mobile device version? Browsing PG in Blazer is the pits

Yeah!! Palmgear is quite lame for not having a mobile version of their website so that we can download apps!
If anybody figures out how to get it to work - do let us know!

I don't know if it's possible to install NetFront on your Palm device, but if you can, then that's your solution. I can download files from PG with my Clié TH55.
The issue is javascript: Blazer's javascript is not complete (I submitted this issue over a year ago). I assume the other programs other than NetFront and PicselBrowser also don't support all javascript elements.

I have had probs with netfront in the past so it seems i am SOL. Thanks anyways ;-)
I shall just write down the links an' let good ole FireFox take care of things at home. If i decide to convert a old box into a server this summer (for mail, ftp, web, etc etc), i may whip up a better solution. (send a link to the server and have it mail the download to me, maybe)
Another solution is the new Mobile Gateway from Google -- it basicly acts as a transparent proxy for mobile devices. That might fix the problem... anyone tried it?

Just checked - doesnt work...
It is pretty absurd, at least they could have a token page that gives limited functionality

Hey all. I can download off of PG using OperaMini. I set myself up with a 'Member Download'. I login in using OpMi (Blazer won't do it). Then when I download, it jumps to Blazer to complete it.
OpMi actually stores the login quite well. I can jump online in OpMi and usually do not need to login again.
I will note that sometimes the download does not work the first time. This is usually due to an 'autoflush' between OpMi and Blazer (I use ResetDoctor). I go back into OpMi and tap the link again the second time.
I agree that it is very strange that a site that is geared toward mobile devices is not itself mobile.
Hope this helps.

I use OperaMini to kick things off for Blazer but use the 'Guest' approach.
