i have a Treo 680 rom from palm how do i get the prc files out of it or is that not possible

Did you have to click through the EULA to get it? (If so, I suspect that such extraction may count as forbidden modification in the EULA.)

If there is a file on a simulator I want to get, I install a file manager program and transfer it to the card volume, though I am not sure if there are any good ways to simply pull files out of the ROM, unless your name is Dmitry...

FileZ->select files in ROM (will have a small computer chip icon)->menu->copy->selct card-> click OK... on your card...

Works in sim as jjesusfreak101 said, not sure about on the device. Much of the ROM is copy-protected and, imho, it is impossible to get out. Unless your dmitry (Pruss could prolly do it :))

What exactly is your situation? What are you trying to do? That should work.

I tested the Blazer.prc file, which is a ROM file, and I was able to copy it to my card using Filez.

ok im using the palm sim with a treo 680 rom
im using file z
but its a simulator and i have no idea where it puts the files for the card when i transfer them


Where do they go??

found the card volume but it keep giving me the blue screen of death and crashing when i run it


any one know why
