No "phone" under preferences???

I've recently bought my NX70V (Europe) and I don't have the "Phone" option under preferences.

As I need my Clié to conncect to my GSM (6310i) for various stuff, it seems to bother me somewhat. I've seen the option in the CLie emulator, but don't know how to add it to my Handheld...

Help anyone?

I think you have to use the option "connections"
and create a new entry for your phone
for instance (I also have a Nokia 6310)
name : IR for phone
connect with : modem
via : infrared
dial mode : touch
then in details you'll need speed
flow control and init string

etc

If you don't mind, can you share on how to set up, flow control, speed and init string? I can connect but not reliable disconnect after 1 or 2 second.

timw_de. Yes mine is US but I don't have phone preference you can find it in TungstenT or NZ90V or TG50... It's annoying I try to find it but still cannot. I have already installed Quick dial but only support OS 4.1 but I can have the phone preference now but when I executed it shows you error.

I have the SMS software from the NZ; if you install it together with the phone driver update available at the NZ section of the Sony support site, the Phone tab will show with 3 drivers for Sony Ericsson´s phones and a generic GSM driver.

Where did you get the SMS prog that comes with the NZ?!?!? I've been desperately looking for it for ages....... (actually I think the one that comes with the TG50 should work, also).

Any indication would be greatly appreciated!
