View Full Version : Colorize 1.3a Conflict w/ Maxilaris Note
If anyone else is using these 2 apps, are you experiencing odd behavior with Note? After installing and using Colorize, I found that my Note background color had changed, when I reselected the desired color, the Note toolbar became invisible, and the screen displayed 2 different colors separated by a white band, eventually my T665 crashed. Even after restoring the default colors and deleting Colorize, Note was still wacky. I continued to investigate its behavior until it froze and I performed a soft reset, then all was normal again.
It's too bad because Colorize is a neat app and free.

I could never get Maxilaris Note to run on the NX. I gave up waiting for them to udate to OS5 version. I too use Colorize with no issues. I suspect your right that there is a clash between Maxilaris background with Colorize. Doesn't mean either one is a bad app, just they are not aware of each other. Send a note to the developer of Colorize. He frequents Cliesoure regulary and is usually pretty responsive.
n2ifp,
I've already gotten an answer back from Christopher, the developer of Colorize. He suggested using 8-bit mode and also contacting Maxilaris. I like Note, but it has not been updated ina while.
Switching to 8-bit mode in Colorize solved the problem. This solution to possible problems was right there in the ReadMe file.
Credit to both developers (Note & Colorize) for answering me and offering suggestions so quickly!
