Transfer games from PalmPak to Clie?

My wife has upgraded her m505 and would like to use the games from the PalmPak Games Card (an SD card). I can copy all the games from the card by using a PC SD reader, but when loading the games on the Clie they all run in trial mode or don't run at all. Any idea whether there's a way to have them run in registered mode? I do see one additional file on the SD card, launcher.dat, but am not sure how I would use that...

your only chance is to contact the developers of the game, one by one, and ask them to send you a valid reg code,
I know astraware gives a life long license to they're stuff, you can always change user name, so they will probably be happy to help you with a valid code, as for the other developers...
give it a shot, it might work.

To answer my own question, I found a post on PalmInfoSource (I think) which says how to do this. Basically if you copy the exact directory structure from the SD card to the MS it will work fine. I did find that I couldn't launch the programs from ZLauncher, presumably because it copies them to RAM first, whereas the original program expects to be run from the card, but if I exit ZLauncher and run the program from the standard Palm or Clie launcher it works fine.

That said, several of the programs don't work right. Nineball (pinball) is too fast to be useful. The Blackjack game puts the action box right on top of the cards, so you can't see what you're dealt (presumably a hi-res problem). And SimCity, sadly, mostly runs, but tapping on the screen to make changes doesn't seem to register anything, rendering it useless. The other games seem to work fine.
