The subject says it all really.  The only thing I can find on a standard sized 'flash memory' to Compact Flash adapter is a site in Japan.  Actually someone else posted it and got me wishing I was going to Japan this year!

Here's the link (it's a site for OEM customers):

http://www.mbi.panasonic.co.jp/oembatteries/english/e_pc/out_epc/sdepc.htm#SDCF

Does anyone know of where I can actually buy such an adapter?

I found a company called MITTONI in Australia.
They send me an MS-CF-Adapter to Germany cheap with no problems.

they also got sd-cf-adapters.

The Link for that one:

I thought they had good prices compared to ebay

A trip to Japan would certainly be nice. I often get to go there but just not enough time to do all the shopping around.
But back to the topic, I wonder if SD with CF adapter would in fact have better performance (reading speed wise) since the card is tiny so should be similar to MS where data seeking (such as wanting to fast forward without having to press the stop button 1st otherwise the NX hangs with a need for soft reset.) But I just placed an order for a SanDisk 1GB Compact Flash for only US$176.99 at Amazon.com Free shipping too! :D
