Grrr. Just got my NX60, so I'm playing with all it's capabilities. So far I'm pretty impressed, and haven't had any trouble. I've used Image Convertor to convert a couple of things that play with no problem-even the Matrix Reloaded 100MB Quicktime trailer.
But I've hit a file that Image Converter will only convert the first 6 seconds of, then it stops like it thinks it's done (the progress bar shows 100%). It's an MPEG1 file, and I've had no trouble converting other MPEG1 files, and the 6 seconds it does convert plays fine on both my computer and the Clie.
But why is it stopping? The only thing I can think is that this file has a period with just black video for a good 6 seconds or so after the first few seconds of video. Is Image Converter dumb enough to think the file's ended because of that?
Any work around, anyone heard of this? Geez, I want this to work :(
EDIT: If Image Converter won't work, is there any other way to get these in a usable MPEG-4 format (sounds like the answer is no...), or any easy way to split up the MPEG-1 file so it fits on memory sticks?
EDIT2: Dang it! The converted Matrix Trailer dosen't play on my Clie. It plays fine in Quicktime, but only shows up as 2 seconds on my Clie, and just stops.
I don't know...If I can't get this to work right I guess I'm taking it back :(
