View Full Version : "Today's Posts" option not showing up consistently

At the top there is an option for "New Posts" and it's also listed in the "Quick Links" drop down, but I've noticed that I can only select "Today's Posts" if I'm not logged in.

The problem comes in when I leave my computer at home up over night and remain logged in here. It refreshes so when I get to work and hit new posts I get a message saying there aren't any. Then I log off and I have the option of selecting "Today's Posts" which then allows me to see all of the posts made in the last day. Why can't I have this option when logged in versus having two options for "New Posts?"

No one has commented so I'm not sure what that means. Is that because other people have the option to select "Today's Posts" when logged in?

This also becomes problematic during the day. I log in when I get to work and have the site up all day. Sometimes the "new posts" list will die before I get the chance to go through all the threads I'm interested in and I once again get the "there are no new threads" (or whatever it says) message. At which time I have to manually go looking through the forums to see what's new.

Does no one else have this issue? Or does everyone else have an option to view Today's Posts when logged in, as I asked earlier.

I went into my User Control Panel looking for an option to change it myself but I realize that it is not a matter I can control as a member...it is the selection made by the admin or forum designer in Vbulletin for the menu bar.
