View Full Version : Viewing eMail Attachments

I have a TG50 with a 512MB MS.  What I want to do SEEMS to be simple - all the pieces are there, but I can't figure out how.

We run Outlook in the office.
Email attachments are the norm (mostly Word docs) and hyperlinks.
ClieMail has an "attachment" indicator, but it never downloads any of the attachments.

Shouldn't we be able to enable a setting that specifies "Save Attachments to MemoryStick during Hotsync", then, upon selection, the attachments are launched into PICSEL (for viewing) or Docs2Go, etc (for ediiting)?

Are there applications available that can fulfil this need?
Otherwise, what good is PicSel?  Having to detach, move, etc is just a pain!  These devices are meant to simplify things, not complicate!

Thanks!

I use Inbox-To-Go with Docs-To-Go and works great.

From their website, Inbox-to-Go doesn't take care of synchronization. Instead, it requires me to forward my emails to an outside company so that I can retrieve them ?wirelessly?

That COULD work, but it is kind of extreme.

Are we talking about the same application:
http://www.dataviz.com/products/inboxtogo/

Inbox-to-Go from DataViz?

If it has the functionality that you describe, it is hidden from view on their web page? Is it possible that Documents to Go could be providing the "Attachment Sync" that I require? If so, I can look into that, but the web page specifically bills Inbox-to-Go as:

* Send & Receive E-mail & Attachments Wirelessly!
Read, reply, forward and send e-mail right from your handheld just as if you were sitting at your desk. Now you can stay connected with the office and clients even when you're on the road.

* Easy To Set Up
Inbox To Go also takes the mystery out of wireless
e-mail by its simple and straight forward approach. Simply install Inbox To Go and start sending and receiving your company or personal e-mail from your handheld today.

Let me know...

If I remember correctly when you go through set up at a certain part you are asked if you will rec email wireless and at that point I said no and went forward with the install. I am not sure if they have a trial version but send me a PM if you need further assistance.
