 Can someone please tell me how to take jpeg pictures and convert them into ZLauncher backgrounds for my NR70? Please be specific, I'm not very familiar with the workings of something like this.
Thanks

Anastasis:

I am not sure how to do the jpegs for the NR70 as I have a T665. However, if you do a search for "Backgrounds in ZLauncher" you will find that there have been a lot of threads on this. Hopefully someone has a similar machine - and the answer is already out there.

Also - no offense - did you try the manual for ZLauncher? The info is in there, I believe (though whether it is relevant for the NR70 I don't know).

Good luck.

Thanks for the info., I haven't checked with the zlauncher manuel because it always gave me some kind of error message everytime I tried to open it. Is there anyone out there that can e-mail it to me or suggest how I might get mine to work?
Thanks

Most PC photo editors can do it, just crop the image you want as a background to 320x480. I personally use Splashphoto desktop because it is incredibly easy, just open Splashphoto desktop, browse your PC for the image you want to convert, open it, select the size (320x480 for the NR) and jpg. Then click install. The next time you hotsync, the image will be transfered to your MS (only place jpg images can go) to a directory palm/programs/splashphoto (the handheld component of Splashphoto has to be in RAM on your handheld for the transfer at hotsync to work). Once you have them on your MS, just use ZL's file manager (or any other file manager) and move or copy the images from the splashphoto directory to the zlauncher/backimage directory. I think Splashphoto offers a thirty day trial period, you should be able to convert quite a few backimages in that time, if you don't want to buy Splashphoto.

If you use some other photo editor, you will have to transfer the images to your NR using MSImport. Just launch MSImport on your handheld, while it is connected to your PC and your MS will show up as another drive on your PC. You can then copy the converted images to the ZLauncher/backimage directory directly from your PC's hard drive.

Enjoy:)
