Hi,
I am having a problem getting the pic files I want to use on my TX as wallpaper to show up proportionally correct. I save them in 320x480 size as .jpgs and hotsync them onto the TX. In the media viewer they look great but when I select them as wallpaper they are way out of proportion, often looking lopsided or bigger than they do in viewer. Is there something I am not doing correctly? Thanks!

Correct size is 480x480 to account for screen rotation.

I get better results with 450 x 450 and having the main portion of the picture aligned to the top and left sides of the screen (doesn´t have to touch the borders, but if it is down or at the right, it will get cut on rotation).

AFAIK, any image over 320x320 will get cropped either in portrait or landscape view.

As I understand it, you need to account for this by creating a 480x480 image. You must allow for the fact that the rightmost margin of 160x480 will not be seen in portrait view, nor the bottom-most margin of 480x160 in landscape view. (In fact, the lower right 160x160 corner will not be seen in either view.)

Is that right, Dick Tracy?
