I loaded the "sony hi-res" version of dragon fire on my NZ, I like the game a lot. My question is, is the game supposed to be full screen? The makers claim it's for hi-res sony's, however it only shows up in a 320x320 window... leaving 160 pixels empty at the bottom of the screen... would be nice to view full screen.
curious if anyone knows if it's supposed to be full screen? -maybe i downloaded the wrong version?

I don't believe the developer ever claimed that the game was hi-res+. Hi-res+ is full screen (320x480), hi-res (320x320) is a better resolution than standard screens (160x160). I checked the website and they never claim that it is hi-res+ (Palmgear does though, but they often get it wrong).

Thanks,
your right... I guess I assumed that hi res was full screen, when in fact as you pointed out, hires+ is full screen!
thanks,

-got another question about Dragon Fire,
I've been playing it for a few weeks now... (cool game). I am debating on purchasing the full version. RedShift (the maker) states that the un-registered version is limited to only 1 level. No where do they state how many levels the registered version has. Does anyone know how many levels the registered game has?

I think it means you character is limited to 1 level. with enough experience your character increases its level and gets more powerful.

DragonFire is a great game, but once you've played it through, there isn't much more to it. If you are still evaluating which games to go for, you may want to try Aldon's Crossing (www.constantgames.com) as an alternate RBG game. Despite it being lo-res - the depth and replay value is there. Well worth the money spent! :)
