Does anyone knows how to fix this?
My sweet and lovely T3 was working flawlessly until today when I ejected my SD card . After copying some files to it on my pc, I tried re-inserting the card on my palm but discovered to my dismay that it won't hold cards anymore.
BTW Does anyone knows more specific disassembly data than that widely available?

Someone mentioned elsewhere using a dummy card with a very light dab of wd-40 ...then inserting and re-inserting to loosen up the spring mechanism. Proceed with caution

My problem solved: there was a very very small piece of plastic (fallen of from a battered old sd card), which doesn't allowed the card to activate the latch!

Did you had to take your T3 apart to find this piece of plastic?
Glad for you! I'm getting nuts without my T3 fully working. :(

I took apart the T3, but as I found out, it would not have been necessary, I could have get the plastic out with a stick :)

My beloved T3 is working again!!
The problem was a tiny spring (possibly from the SD cover lid that went away long time ago on my device) that was preventing the latch to activate.
To do this I had to take it apart in order to see and remove this. Maybe other users here with the same problem can repair their units just by carefully checking inside.

Congrats gammada! They don't even make the newer models with a SD cover anymore...just an open space inviting anything to make a home in there
