View Full Version : I'm back with the TH55/E!
Now it can be told that I've sold my two TH55/E's to DanT close to a year ago. I switched to the Treo from then on and played with the LifeDrive and TX in the process.
Now I'm back and I couldn't be happier! Why did I return? Primarily because of subjective reasons. The TH55/E's got the fantastic Clie Organizer (the ToDoList is perfect for GTD), built-in camera, voice recorder, Decuma, and to-die-for form factor. Oh and Bluetooth too.
So I'm back and I'm giddy using the TH55/E again for the first time (I just had to say that! :D)

"Lone Star! We meet again at last, for the first time, for the last time...".
It's strange how you get attached to the '55. I thought my primary had been pinched last summer, but was just having one of those days and had mislaid it. Very worrying now to look back and reflect on the out-of-proportion sense of loss. The data was all backed up, of course, but that wasn't the point.
To legitimise this post; do you have particular interest in an upcoming or announced device as a potential replacement*?
Meizu's supposed iPhone clone seems a personal possibility, but looks more like a T6** Clie than an Apple-derived design to me. A good thing, obviously.
*Dan will eventually run out of spares. :)

None at the moment. It could be the iPhone but then I'd probably wait for its second generation. So two years could be more than enough for the last flight of the TH55/E.

Good Evening, Joel,
Long time no post. Let me just say that should you find yourself wanting to dip from the ranks of TH55 users again, I would be happy to offer you monetary compensation for your TH55 ;). Believe me when I assure you that it would find a warm and happy home with me.
:)

The "J" stands for "Joel the Joker" (iSrc indeed :) )
jhintonh, your best bet is to ask DanT for your TH55 needs. :)

Welcome back!
(the ToDoList is perfect for GTD),
Would you care to expand on how you do this? I keep trying to get my head around it, but always end up either using the FreeNotes, or a piece of paper  :o

Er...I stopped using my Clie Th55 4-5 months a ago when I got my Sony Ericsson P990 - but like Joel I'm back. I love my TH55! Now I am worried as I sold my spare TH55, will need to find one on ebay quick! Great to be back!

I had a TH-55 when they first came out. I sold it when I got a Treo. I recently, about 2 weeks ago bought another one on ebay. So I'm back too.

Good Evening,
I assume that means that you will be holding on to your TH for a while :)
Use it in good health my friend ;)
