T/X resets itself after Hotsync

Whenever the hotsync completes, it restarts. I know that hard resetting it will fix the problem but is there a solution to this without doing a hard reset?

Three most likely situations:

1. Backup conduit is not set to Handheld Overwrites Desktop. Change to this setting.
2. Third-party software incompatibility. See list at PalmFocus.com and remove suspects.
3. Improper upgrade procedure from prior PalmOS device. Hard reset, rename Backup folder on computer, sync back PIMs and then third-party applications with careful attention to #2.
