Fixed NXSkinGen that works in 1024x768!

Sorry to double post, but I wanted to make sure that this gets out.

OK guys, I have good news. Using this program here (http://www.users.on.net/johnson/resourcehacker/) I hacked NXSkinGen to fit on a 1024x768 resolution. You can also maximize it, minimize it, resize it, and generally be able to create skins a little easier.

I don't mean to hack the author's program, but I (and many of you) want to be able to fit it a 1024x768 screen. I also added a cool icon. :) The version number in the about screen will say "NXSkinGen 1.1 *fixed*". Just replace the original exe with the one in the zip file. If you have any problems, let me know, but remember, I didn't create this program. The original program, with all the files that are needed to run it, is available here (http://my.dreamwiz.com/hangom/NxSkinGen1_1.zip).


Now all we need is someone who can translate the program and documentation into English!

Edit: The file attachment feature on the board does not seem to be working. You can d/l it here (http://users.adelphia.net/~philipvolmar/NXSkinGen.zip) for (temporary?) until it can be uploaded elsewhere.

Do you need a certain OS on the PC for this app to work? I'm using a Win98SE laptop, and neither the original version or this version will open for me. It gives me some error in gibberish.

You need to have the origanal NXSkinGen, because there are other files the exe needs. You can get it here. (http://my.dreamwiz.com/hangom/NxSkinGen1_1.zip) Then just copy this exe to replace the first one.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I just made my first Status Bar skin! WOO HOOOOOO! This is almost as much fun as a new software release. NXSkinGen is actually useable now! YOU ROCK!

Now I have to install a screen capture utility so I can post it here.

No I don't mind, as the more people that have this program mean the more skins we can download. :D

But, as I said, anyone who can translate Korean, or even contact the author of the program to get permission and/or authorization to translate is greatly needed. Any Korean speaking Cliérs here wanting to benefit the Cliéan kind?
