My friends,

My wife just won a Pam M130. Of course, the connector is not compatible with my T665C cradle and thinking I could just set her up as a new user I tried to get her usb cradle to sync with my PalmDesktop for Clié. Big mistake ! It seems each cradle has proprietary drivers, so that the last drivers loaded are the ones that get loaded at the next boot preventing one of the two cradles to hotsync. I even tried installing her Palm Desktop thinking that the Palm drivers might be more generic, to no avail.

I tried installing both desktops, each one on a different partition, but that didn't seem to work either. Any insight on this tormenting issue ?

I'd hate to have to forego a free M130.

Thanks for your usual help,

Christian.

Christian-

I am using a T665 and my wife has a Palm III. We connect the two cradles via USB and serial port. Use the same desktop app (SONY); have setup as two users and have had no problem whatsoever!!

The trick is that the two cradles are connected to two different ports. I use Win2K professional on the desktop.

Ram :-)

I am running XP home, I have a Palm m105 serial conection, and also sync a TG50 and a T615 using the same cradle. No real problems. I did need to run the TG50 Palm Desktop to get it to sync. Also, sometimes, the Hot Sync manager won't sync my T615 unless I sync the palm first??? This only happens when I install new software sometimes. I first loaded the Palm software, then my Sony desktop software. Sync the Palm then sync the sonys. GP
