Now before you comment on my comment, I know there are alternate apps, but I am looking for something that the other keyguard apps do not do.
Is it possible to make the keyguard that comes with the 680 (and other Treos) into a sort of active standby application where one gets icon notification of any new emails, SMS, and the current or next appointment. Seems to be a small waste of the wireless functionaloty if all that the keyguard does is show the time and let you know how to disable it.
