View Full Version : Is it a lemon? Flipped-mode hardware buttons don't work?

Hi. My new NZ90 works fine, except the tiny hardware buttons beneath the lower screen bezel don't work, not at all - not in tablet/flipped mode (as the manual indicates) or in any other mode. I tried a soft-reset, with no luck; a hard reset also didn't help. I guess I know the answer, but is it a lemon? Any ideas?

Sounds like a hardware problem to me. I've never had them fail to work...

i thought i had the same problem with mine but they do work, u just have to press really hard. actually u gotta push the button all the way in, so it helps if u have longer nails

I wish pushing them hard worked; but, even with my girlfriend's long fingernails, nothing...sigh...

Someone else had a similar problem where his quit working. A long shot would be to do a hard reset and see if that cures it, if not, then it's a hardware problem.

I tried it, no good. Sony's "box" is on the way. Using this technology must be as close as I can get to dating a super model. You lust after it, you want it, you know you'll never do better - and all it does is torture you....
