Cloning my Clie's

I've been enjoying the heck out of my T-665, and the other day I won an NR70v in a sales contest at work. Woo-hoo! I want to keep the T-665 as a backup unit and have all the same applications on both. I have read that it is not adviseable to use the same HotSync ID on more then one PDA. Why exactly is that?

OK then. I don't think I want to be that anal retentive about making sure there is no difference between applications. Is it possible to just put everything on the 665 on the NR70? Is it just a matter of hard re-setting both Clie's and putting my old hotsync ID on the new Clie?

To a point, yes. But you will want to check for upgrades. its possible some apps on your 665 are non-hires+, but the newer version of the same app is.

Oh, you select hot-sync ID on computer if you suffer a hard-reset or do what you sugested.( do it, and youl find out what I mean)
