Ok, after looking everywhere for my bestbuy card but not finding it, I said to heck with it and went out and bought some writeright screen protectors for my NX. Does any one have any pointers on what to do before I put these things on? Should I clean the screen with something before hand? Or should I just slap these suckers on here? Anything else I should know before I put them on? Thanks in advance.

Clean the screen off so you don't have any dust or particles underneath the protector that will scratch the screen. If you are anal about bubbles underneath the protector like I am, shine a bright light on your "work area" and peel up one edge of the protector. Place that edge at the bottom/top of the screen and peel it off as you apply it, pressing out bubbles as you go. make sure the screen stays clean when you are applying. Also, to keep dust in the air to a minimum, apply the protector in the bathroom or somewhere else where it is pretty humid.

That may be a little overboard - I hope it helps.

It comes with a little card so you can press out the bubbles with it. Another more broad question, do you guys use any household products to clean your screen? If so, what? I'm a bit curious.

I just fog it with my breath and use an eye glass cleaning cloth to polish it before I put on my screen protector. Try to use something lint free. I have also found its best to start applying the protector from the side versus top to bottom. I've also found the best screen protectors are from Brando workshop.

I use a spray which is a solution of distilled water and isopropyl alcohol, it's intended to be used for cleaning CD's so it's safe with plastics. I use the same spray clean my laptop screen, works well and evaporates without leaving a residue.
