I have a TE and haven't had a problem with my photos before. Just lately, I when I try to open any photo (on the handheld or SD Card) it gives me a Image Error  - "Unable to show this photo because there is a problem with the image." What is the problem and how do I fix it? Thanks for any advice.

What format is the image you are opening? can you get it up on the Desktop?

Yes, the pictures show up in the preview (on the palm) and on the desktop, they are jpegs.

huh, sorry. I haven't a clue. maybe resave them on your desktop, edit them, save em as bmps and reconvert to jpeg? I'm just drawling on. I really have no clue

what program are you trying to view it on the palm with? if it's photos itself, have you tried re-installing it? I occasionally get a glitch with it that means I need to reinstall it for it to work.

Thanks for the replies. I have tried to use photos, splashphoto, and rescoview. Same result in all photo view programs. I will try to reinstall the programs, that is a good idea. Thanks.

corrupt card?
have you transferred the pic "back" to the pc to see if there's a problem with that file?
have you checked in filez to see what the name of the file is?

There is a biggger problem. I can't install any jpeg through the quick installer. It isn't reading jpegs as compatible. Does that mean I have to reinstall a file to my palm? How do I get my palm to recognize jpegs?

is it coming up with the triangle < nothing supports this > in which case just pop one of the programs back on the palm, as the "file associations" sound like they've had a bit of a "knock".
sounds like the palm's had one of those days ;)
