Hi,

I followed the instructions on how to setup the PDA for a wireless hot sync for my palm tungsten E2. When it says to goto the network and select the service " wireless lan" my pda doesn't give me the option. I had read that a soft boot or hard boot might fix this and tried both with no results. The only service option that is somewhat close to wireless lan is WIFI that shows up as a service and I have tried using that service in the place of wireless lan with no results. Please help!

I followed the instructions on how to setup the PDA for a wireless hot sync for my palm tungsten E2.So that we can follow what you are saying, which instructions? Can you give us a reference?

Also, the Tungsten E2 does not natively have WiFi capability. To do WiFi one would have to use some additional hardware. Therefore, what WiFi hardware are you using?

Alternately one can set up a wireless Bluetooth Hotsync, if your desktop (or laptop) has Bluetooth capability. If one does not have Bluetooth capability natively, one can add it by using a USB Bluetooth dongal. For details on setting up a Bluetooth Hotsync, see here.
