I couldn't use the Clie Remote to control my Sanyo TV.
I tried from mode 1 to 4. Did I miss anything?
Is it possible to 'train' each button?

If it doesn't work with the correct maker selected there's really nothing you can do -- it's not a "learning remote."

Then is there any "learning remote" apps available?
Thanks.

There are some shareware programs, but I haven't gotten them to work with the Clie's infrared very well.

I could create buttons with Omni remote, but I couldn't get the clie to actually control any of my devices (I'm pretty sure I was using it correctly as I used it before with a Palm V, and I followed their instructions closely).

It takes a while...but be sure to try the other manufacturers supported...I was bummed out when I didn't even see my citizen TV on the list, but when I tried using Emerson Mode 8....I'm happy now though :D

Which OmniRemote version are you guys using?
I have 2.01 and it doesn't work..looks like it doesn't support HiRes..
What is CIC Jot??

I tried the latest version of OmniRemote which is version 2.08 and that one works. I wish that NoviiRemote works as the Omni is slow and pretty ugly. I know one can apply styles to it but that takes up space.

CIC Jot is actually the technology used by palm INC for graffiti 2.

I got the impression that this was just with Sony devices. I remember Casio has a Remote Watch which can turn off almost anything, but can the TG-50 do that too?

Perhaps your Sanyo is re-branded?

If you tried the new version OmniRemote could you tell us if the infrared range is good with Clie NX series?
